  [ProQuest 1.5million eBooks] Full-text trial reading service is now available

“ProQuest Ebook Central” is offering a free 5-minute full-text reading service for more than 1.5 million unpurchased e-books from about 650 publishers.
ProQuest Ebook Central is a platform for foreign e-books provided by ProQuest (Currently, 30 titles of eBooks are purchased by Shizuoka University.)

【Participants】Students, faculty and staff of Shizuoka University
★ Free 5-minute full-text trial reading service.
★ “ProQuest Ebook Central” can also be used from off-campus through “GakuNin” with your SHIZUDAI ID.
★ When you sent purchase request that in the trial reading screen function, the request will be used as a reference for our selecting books.
★ The URL of ProQuest Ebook Central is here→ https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/shizuoka-ebooks/home.action

● For information on how to use the library from off-campus, please see the “How to Use E-resources from Outside of a Campus” of the library website.
● Althought you can search for eBooks available in Shizuoka University Library on the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) and can read them from the linked URL in the search results,
unpurchased eBooks that are eligible for the full-text trial reading service cannot be searched on the OPAC, so please search for them on the ProQuest Ebook Central website.
● Please continue to use the “KinoDen” full-text trial reading service until the end of February 2022 as well.
