  Extension of the Trial Period for the 7-Book Loan Limit

We are currently conducting a trial to increase the loan limit for undergraduate students to seven books.
Based on the results of the user survey conducted from December to February last academic year, as well as actual usage data, we are preparing to make the seven-book limit the standard, with a target implementation in late July.
The trial, originally scheduled to end on June 30, 2026, will be extended until the official implementation begins.
Details of the trial are as follows.

• Trial Period : July 1st, 2025 – Late July, 2026
• Undergraduate students can borrow up to 7 books.
• The following users are able to borrow up to 7 books from the open shelves of the Shizuoka Main Library:
  • Graduate students
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Emeritus Professor
