We are going to have constructions to repair part of the ceiling and an elevator in Shizuoka Main Library.
For that reason, restrictions of use will be applied as follows.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
1. Construction period January 4th, 2021 – March 10th, 2021 (scheduled)
2. Restrictions of use
- You cannot use the Japanese serials located in the closed stacks during following period.
January 4th, 2021 – February 26th, 2021 (scheduled) - You cannot use the elevator in the closed stacks(Japanese books side) during following period.
January 8th – February 15th, March 1st – March 10th, 2021 (scheduled)*You can use the elevator from February 16th to 26th.
Please use stairs or elevator(foreign books side) during the construction period.
3. Note In case we have to change the usage restriction period, we will inform you on the library website.

Hamamatsu Branch Library
- Application to use materials in closed stacks and enter the closed stacks: 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays
- Materials in the closed stacks are not available on weekend and holidays.

- Please refrain from seating for hours.
- A part of PC are available for use.
- Personal booths, Group study rooms, Seminar Room/CALL Room and other facilities in the Library are not available for use.

We have resumed interlibrary loan, but it may take longer than usual or be unable to offer to your request.
