We will change Service Hours of the library as follows:
Further changes may be made depending on the future spread of the new corona infection.

Closed Stacks Hours

Shizuoka Main Library

  • Application to use materials in closed stacks and enter closed stacks (for faculty staff and graduates): 9am to 4:45 pm on weekdays.

Hamamatsu Branch Library

  • Application to use materials in closed stacks and enter the closed stacks: 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays

  • Materials in the closed stacks are not available on weekend and holidays.

Restrictions on Library Services

Shizuoka Main Library

  • Seats are available about an hour.
  • Personal booths, lounge, PC Work Area, Harvest Room are not available for use.
  • In principle, Seminar room is not available for use too. If you want to use it for class, please contact User Processing Unit.
  • Gallery is available. Please follow our cautions.
  • “Library Laptop for Loan” service is available. You can use it about an hour.

Hamamatsu Branch Library

  • Please refrain from seating for hours.
  • Personal booths, Group study rooms, Seminar Room/CALL Room and other facilities in the Library are not available for use.
  • Gallery is available. Please follow our cautions.
  • A part of PC are available for use.

ILL Services

Interlibrary loan service is available, but it may take longer than usual or be unable to offer to your request.

National Diet Library Digital Collection service

National Diet Library Digital Collection service is available (9 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm on weekdays). You can use it about an hour.

Visitors

Visitors will not be able to use Shizuoka University Library for the time being.

■For those who will graduate

The due date is the same date of the graduation ceremony. (Shizuoka campus: March 23rd, Hamamatsu campus: March 19th)
Please return the books you borrow by the due date.

■For those who will proceed to the graduate school at the Shizuoka University

You can extend the loan period until March 31st. If you need extension, please ask to the library staff. (Weekday, 9:00-12:30, 13:30-17:00)
From April, you can borrow library materials after your student card issued.

■For those who will continue to be enrolled due to repeating a year etc.

If you are a fourth-year undergraduate student or a second-year graduate student who will continue to be enrolled next academic year due to repeating a year etc., you can extend the loan period until April 15th.
If you want extension, please ask to the library staff. (Weekday, 9:00-12:30, 13:30-17:00)
