  About restrictions of use due to construction

We are going to have constructions to repair part of the ceiling in Shizuoka Main Library.
For that reason, restrictions of use will be applied as follows.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

1. Construction period  February 7th, 2022 – March 28th, 2022 (scheduled)

2. Restrictions of use 

◆ You cannot use the Japanese books located on the 2nd floor of the closed stacks during following period.
・February 28th, 2022 – March 23rd, 2022 (scheduled)
・You cannot use following books located “SHIZU:CLOSED 2nd FL” (Japanese books side).
   ・SHIZU:CLOSED 2nd FL – BOOK – JAPANESE(Call Number:000-399)
   ・SHIZU:CLOSED 2nd FL – BUNKO
   ・SHIZU:CLOSED 2nd FL – EXCAVATION
   ・SHIZU:CLOSED 2nd FL – BOOK – ORIENTAL
・During the construction period, the books you cannot be used will be displayed as “Unavailabe” on OPAC.

◆ You cannot use the stairs in the closed stacks(Japanese books side) during following period.
・February 28th, 2022 – March 23rd, 2022 (scheduled)
・Please use the elevator(Japanese books side) during the construction period.

3. Note
・The Library will be closed from March 24th to April 3rd due to the inventory.
・In case we have to change the usage restriction period, we will inform you on the library website.

KinoDen eBooks Purchase Request has closed because of the budget regarding the eBook campaign has reached its limit.

In order to strengthen support for home study and online classes, the library is now offering a full-text trial reading service of “KinoDen” (an academic Japanese eBook platform provided by Kinokuniya).

Shizuoka University members can try reading the full text of around 35,000 KinoDen books for 5 minutes per title.
Shizuoka University students can make a purchase request to the library.
KinoDen can also be used from off-campus through “GakuNin” with your SHIZUDAI ID.
