We will conduct a questionnaire to review magazines / journals that both the Shizuoka main library and Hamamatsu branch library are subscribed.

We have started offering previews of all pages for the “Over 70,000 unpurchased E-Books at Shizuoka University” on KinoDen.
Usually, only a small part of the book is available to try out, but during the campaign, you can read the full pages.[5 minutes per book]
Please use it to check the books you’re interested in before submitting a purchase request, for example.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Shizuoka University Alpine Club’s founding.
This special exhibition traces the history of the Alpine Club from its founding to the present day through books and photographs, offering a detailed exploration of the club’s unknown story.

We welcome your E-Book requests! (Students only)

If the book you want to read for study or cultural enrichment is not available at Shizuoka University, please request it from the library. We will purchase and provide it for you. (Only for Shizuoka University students. Each student may request up to 3 books per year.) You can make requests even if you are off campus, such as at home. We accept not only paper books but also E-books. Furthermore, you can request more E-books than usual now.

- [Number of books] Up to 5 books per student (Separate from the normal book request limit of 3 books per student per year.)
You can request up to 5 E-Books in addition to the regular student book requests (up to 3 books per student per year).
E-Book requests submitted during the implementation period will automatically be subject to the “Up to 5 books per student”.

The “Open Library” event at the Shizuoka Main Library will be held in conjunction with the Summer Open Campus.
