• Materials in the closed stacks are not available on weekend and holidays.

Hamamatsu Branch Library

• Application to use materials in closed stacks and enter the closed stacks: 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays
• Materials in the closed stacks are not available on weekend and holidays.

Restrictions on Library Services

• Seats are available for 1 hour.
• Loan period will be announced later on.
• Personal booths and other facilities in the Library are not available for use.

  Extended Checkout for Summer Vacation (Students only)

The loan period and return date during the summer vacation are as follows.

In addition, due to the closing of weekends during summer vacation, we have changed the start date of extended checkout for summer vacation to July 30th.

Please notice that we will end the service which you can renew the book return deadline several times.
From August 17th, you can renew the book return deadline once as long as no hold/request has been placed.

  About renewing the book return deadline (8/17-)

Please notice that we will end the service which you can renew the book return deadline several times.
From August 17th, you can renew the book return deadline once as long as no hold/request has been placed.
(*If you are a graduate student or a faculty staff and you borrow books in the Hamamatsu Branch Library, you will NOT be able to renew the book return deadline.)
If you’ve already renewed the deadline at least once, you cannot renew it after August 17th.

If you renew the book return deadline during following period, it will be Oct.7th.
